What happens when one does Enrich an existing List?

Enrich enables you to match one column from one of your existing files to one column from Octrace and then your whole list does get automatically filled out with data from our database for you.

Prepare Your Import

Before importing data into Octrace, follow these steps to ensure a smooth process, avoid errors, and prevent duplicate or missing data. This checklist outlines the key stages, with each step explained in detail.

Check Your File Format

• File Type: Make sure your file is in CSV format.
• Header Row: Ensure the CSV includes a header row with column labels for each attribute.

Encoding: Save your CSV as UTF-8 to guarantee that special characters (like ä, ö, ü) are exported correctly. You can often select “CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited)” when exporting from spreadsheet software.

Column Names

Make sure that your CSV contains at least one of those columns listed below:

• Company Name (e.g. Company Name: AST Advanced Sales Technologies)
• Domain (e.g. Domain: https://octrace.ai)
• Company Email (e.g. Company Email: [email protected])
